Bio of S. Brooke Anderson
Brooke Anderson is a visual artist committed to transformation through the arts. Healing through art has taken her into the Federal Prison system of Canada and to South Africa to work with teens. Her studio painting is an inseparable part of her prayer life and spiritual journey.
Her portrait and landscape paintings have been exhibited locally and internationally and include solo exhibitions at the Nagasaki Peace Museum in Nagasaki and the Japanese Overseas Migration Museum in Yokohama, Japan.
As part of the Canadiana Fund Collection, her work hangs in the Official Residence of the Governor General of Canada. Brooke lives on Cortes Island in British Columbia and is the mother of two young adult daughters.
